Our Story
At Cognitive Canvas Learning Clinic, we understand the overwhelming emotions of parents who watch their children struggle academically. It’s heart-wrenching to see poor grades, behavioral issues, and social struggles rob a child of their confidence. This shared journey with countless families ignited our passion to help. Founders Kathy and Larry Shudra, both certified educators with decades of experience, recognized a critical gap in traditional tutoring methods. We were deeply moved by the realization that many students were asked to meet developmental demands they weren’t ready for, falling into a cycle of compensatory strategies that hindered their growth.
In 2026, we founded Cognitive Canvas, a family-run clinic focused on identifying the root causes of learning challenges. We are dedicated to uncovering developmental gaps that lead to ineffective coping strategies. It was through extensive training in neuroscience and understanding human development that we discovered the transformative potential of our approach. We adopted a unique method that embraces developmental hierarchies, empowering students to cultivate essential skills.
Cognitive Canvas personalized programs don’t just improve academic performance; they foster independent, resilient learners. Once barriers are removed, students can flourish emotionally and intellectually. Families walk away equipped with not only academic strategies but also a clearer understanding of their child’s learning journey.
With our wealth of experience and dedication, we aim to ensure that it’s never too late for anyone—whether struggling students, adults seeking cognitive optimization, or athletes refining their performance. When the right methods meet the right guidance, the results speak for themselves. Join us as we celebrate progress and transformation at Cognitive Canvas Learning Clinic, where everyone can unlock their fullest potential.
